   Anxiety Help Online Tips

What if I don't take my anxiety seriously and ignore it? This is not an uncommon feeling when suffering from anxiety. Most people go through denial and keep trying to suppress or ignore the anxiety instead of seeking help. This can be a poor choice for most  people. Out of desperation individuals attempt to use their own strategies or quick fix ideas to get anxiety help. Some of the ways people do this is by abusing alcohol. What is considered alcohol abuse? That is a good question. Using this method can easily get you an addiction without you even knowing it. Alcohol will increase your anxiety level the DAY AFTER. You will feel like crap, you will have more anxiety and your problems will not be solved. Another method that is not recommended is  the distraction method as it pertains to pinching yourself, snapping your wrist with a rubber band or those types of distraction methods. For the short term it may distract us from our anxiety but physical pain is not a substitute for mental pain. The whole point of this article is to use positive anxiety strategies that take more effort and are not quick fixes. Delegate some of the workload to others. Ask for assistance in completing tasks. Show up for work early and complete some relaxation techniques before beginning. Use this early start to get some exercise before work. Ensure that you are eating a balanced breakfast before work. Blood sugar levels can play havoc on your anxiety for the day. It is best to eat a balanced diet to keep these levels on a consistent basis. Schedule your appointments for the beginning of the day as this is when we are at our best.
